TEACHER WRITTEN FEEDBACK TOWARDS THEIR STUDENTS ASSIGNMENT AT JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL IN KOTA LANGSA

ABSTRAK

This research provides an analysis of written feedback on students’ written
assignment to shed light on how the feedback acts as a type of written speech
between the teachers and student. Within this research, the researcher analyzed the
written feedback in subject writing.. The research objectives were to find the types
of written feedback based on hyland&hyland 2003 that mainly used by the
teachers in junior high school at Kota Langsa and to investigate that the
importance of written feedback to the student in junior high school at kota langsa
based on the teachers. The research applied qualitative descriptive research
methodData of this research are words and picture not in numeral forms. In the
case, the researcher selected 3 Teacher each From 3 Junior High School in Kota
Langsa,Aceh as samples.The researcher collected notes and took the
documentation on Monday, august ,27th
until Friday ,September ,72018 . Based
on the interview data that researcher collected from the teachers they are mainly
focusing too gave written feedback in Language Structures, Text Functions and
Also Creative Expression. While based on the hyland&Hyland 2003 , There are 6
category of written feedback Based on First of the six focuses is the focus on
language structures, text functions, creative expression, writing process, and the
last is focus on the genre .th
