ABSTRAK

 Problem Based Learning (PBL) encorages students to learn knowledge related to problems and at the same time have problem-solving skills. The purpose of this study was to see how the influence of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) method on the learning achievement of grade X students at Senior High School Cut Nyak Dhien. The method used was descriptive qualitative. This study was conducted on grade X students at Senior High School Cut Nyak Dhien for the 2023/2024 academic  year.  The  researchers,  selected  25  students  as  samples,  the  data collection techniques used by the author were observation, interviews and documentation. This was done to find out whether the use of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) method was effective or not used in teaching English in class X Senior High School Cut Nyak Dhien with the citation of opinions related to the title submitted. The results of this study show that the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning method is able to improve student learning performance.
