ABSTRAK
This research aims to analyze the types of conceptual meanings found in the children's story Matilda by Roald Dahl. The data in this research are the words founds in the novel, which contain elements of conceptual meanings. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method to classify and analyze the terms contained in the conceptual meaning on the children's story novel "Matilda" by Roald Dahl. This research indicates that the conceptual meaning often found in Matilda children's story novels is related to objects or the type of conceptual meaning, which is also called referent, an entity like a thing
