ABSTRAK

This study focuses on the female teenagers’ perceptions towards Acehneslanguage in Langsa, how female teenagers’ perceptions toward Aceh languageand what factors that influence the perception of female teenagers towards Acelanguage. The technique of collected data by transcription of female teenagersanswers at Gampong Teungoh in Langsa. The results of this study are: femaleteenagers’ perceptions are Acehnese language is the language from their familieand parents. Language that have different meaning, different sounds in some
place, it has cultural meaning and specific characteristics, the unic words andsounds, the factors that influence of the female teenagers’ perceptions are: fromtheir experiences at school and home, from their parents, friends, teachers, clericand others. They heard before, when other speak and when their parents tell aboutAceh language then from their teachers when teaching about Aceh language.
