ABSTRAK

The research belonged to descriptive qualitative study. the researcher will guide the speaker in some area of traditional market such as vegetable market, fruit, fish market, and some other areas which are includes in traditional market in Langsa. The researcher did the research during May 2022. Based on the result of the data analyses, the researcher concluded the fruit seller persuade the consumer by using three simple sentence and one compound sentence. Then, the fish seller also use three simple sentence and one complex compound sentence to his consumer. For the next observation, the researcher also do observation to meatball seller, the researcher found that the vendor use one simple sentence, two complex compound sentence and one compound sentence. The next vendor is the seasoning seller, the researcher found that the vendor use two simple sentence and one compound sentence to his consumer. Then, the researcher also observed to vegetable seller, the researcher record that all of sentences which are use by the vendor to communication belonged to simple sentence. The last, the researcher did the researcher to herbal drink vendor, the researcher found that the herbalist drink seller use one simple sentence and two compound sentence to communicate to her consumer.
