ABSTRAK

The purposes of this study was to find out the implementation of RAFT strategy by English language teachers and to find out the ability of students EFL classrooms at Senior High School when the RAFT strategy used. This research used qualitative method. This research described the teaching process of teaching writing using RAFT strategy written four journals articles were purposely by using library research approach which aims to review the results of the study. Based on analyzed that the implement and the students’ ability by the teacher’s use of RAFT strategy in teaching writing including the important idea, giving brainstorming, completing the reading assignment and give the sample of authentic project. In addition, the RAFT strategy was to be effective in improving students’ writing ability, including the students’ ability in writing creatively, to think a topic from various point of view to specify a specific text in a variety formats of assigned at the schools.
