ABSTRAK

The purposes of this research were: (1) to analyze and find out the classroom management undertaken by English teachers in English classroom (2) to identify problems of the classroom management found in English language learning classroom. The method of this research was a descriptive qualitative design with a concept analysis approach. The researcher got the data from document analysis and data sources used are in the form of literature data. The technique for collecting data used document note only and making "text" as the main object of analysis. To assess the trustworthiness of the research, the researcher did triangulation and code-recode strategy. The findings of this research showed that (1) classroom management undertaken by English teachers divided into three components: (a) the physical environment of the classroom, (b) the teacher which consisting of the teacher’s voice, the teacher’s language, body language, teacher’s response, teacher-student relationship, and rules and procedures, (c) teaching under adverse circumstances. (2) The problems found in English language learning classroom divided into the problems faced by the teachers and the problems faced by the students. To solve this problem, the teacher gave punishment and treatment according to the techniques in overcoming the problems. Thus, schools must provide policies to limit the number of students (in a classroom) and provide a lot of training for teachers, especially about a good classroom management.
