ABSTRAK

This study aims to describe the application and to know kind of Jack C Richard strategy cognitive development used in teaching young Learners at Home Coursing. This study uses descriptive qualitative method.Research instruments of the study wasobservation, interview, and document analysis.The subject of this research are Tutor in Home Coursing. The collection proceduredata was research instrument which observationclassroom activities for eight days, interviewtutorused voice recorders and concluding the data, and managing the data that has been obtained after conducting observations and interviews. The results of this research werethe application of Richard strategy used almost applied but not completely and there were several strategiesare semi-used in teaching process, approach in the teaching like to complain, and uses ten strategies is physical movement, unitary learning, activities learning, certain themes, recognizable, prioritize learning, supportive learning, interesting and fun, providing facilities and supporting infrastructure, use mother tongue/L1.
