ABSTRAK

The research aims to analyze the impact and to describe the students perception of english club toward speaking skill. The researcher used descriptive Qualitative. The research was done to English Club student in SMA Negeri 1 Brandan Barat. To obtaining the data, the researcher used interviews and questionnaire. The research interview 35 students and give questionaire who join in English Club. The findings of joining English Club were give Motivation for students, enhancing students speaking skill, improve the vocabulary Students, upgrade students pronouncation and improve the value english study. While, the student perception joining English Club give the positive impact for students. By joining English club give the student can improve their mot ivat ion for speaking, achievement, and confident in speaking english. That’s wa y joining extracurricullar is important for student especially debate club.
